Dear TOG Customer:
As you may be aware, we have been involved in patent infringement
litigation with Sawgrass Technologies. We determined that it is our best interests
to settle this litigation. As part of the settlement, Sawgrass will acquire the
inkjet division of Texas Original Graphics, and going forward, will provide you with high quality sublimation products. You will continue to receive the service you count on to run your operations.
This transition is effective as of May 16, 2008.
As part of the
settlement agreement, the Sublibrite Ink product line will be discontinued, and will be replaced with the ArTainium product
line. We have negotiated, for you, a TOG customer, a 25% discount on ArTainium ink for a period of one year from the date
of acquisition. Sawgrass has agreed to support your existing systems. This discount is good for both bulk ink, as well as cartridges for your Epson printers.
We have obtained
assurances from Sawgrass that they will provide a seamless transition to help you convert to ArTainium. Sawgrass Technologies
will provide you with the necessary color profiles to successfully transition to ArTainium. They will also provide you with
a custom web portal where you can purchase ArTainium directly from Sawgrass Technologies, at your special, discounted rate.
As a result of
the settlement and the sale of our inkjet division, we will no longer be selling sublimation ink. I feel confident that Sawgrass will provide you with the high quality products and support you need to
continue to grow your business for years to come.
Although we will
no longer be selling sublimation ink, we will be selling our special sublimation paper, sublimation mouse pads, sublimation
coffee mugs, sublimation sheet metal and laser printer sublimation printers and cartridges. I appreciate all the sublimation ink business you given us over the years and
wish you continued success using ArTainium sublimation inks.
Sincerely,
Bill Wellborn
